WHAT IS BALAYAGE?
Balayage is a french word meaning to paint. It is a new style technique that ONLY stylists that have been trained with the correct education can create, leaving impeccable results. Our artists here paint the hair with color or lightener leaving a sun-kissed or more natural look to the hair. With softer and less noticeable regrowth line, it allows more time in-between each service if desired. This technique can be done many ways, from something simple and soft to a more dramatic overall look.
WHAT IS A GLAZE?
We carry both clear glazes (with no color pigment) and color glazes, which add a safe coating to the hair that lasts 12 - 15 shampoos. Glazes are semi-permanent and contain no ammonia or peroxide, which means they do not have the ability to lift your natural color or to aggressively open the cuticle to deposit color. This product lays on the surface of the hair rather, adding a complementary tone. Also, glazes will not fully cover gray hair. However, on a client who’s just slightly gray, it can add overall shine and a hint of tone while possibly staining those few strands.
WHAT IS OLAPLEX?
Hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services, Olaplex reconnects those broken disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair and repairs strength. It also helps protect color. It is free of silicone, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes, gluten and is never tested on animals.
